Default Sportster Iron/Nightster Rear Fender Options

I have been doing some customizing to my Iron and would like to hear any suggestions for a direct fit swap rear fender for my iron. I really am not a big fan of how it looks w/ the recent mods and was wondering if anyone has added an aftermarket or different model fender or could suggest what might look good w/ my current set up.

What are your recent mods? Your pics are pretty small so tough to tell. I see different bars and pipes, but thats it.

I think it looks great. Mine is only slightly different because it doesn't have the small hole on the top of the fender for the two-up seat screw.

I'd personally keep the stock chopped rear fender, but add a scallop taillight,

Black though of course, but maybe a brushed aluminum would look nice also. Best Wishes. -Joe

Default thanks for the suggestions....

thanks for the suggestions guys, i do appreciate it. i still haven't decided what i want to do but hearing from other what they think always helps. sometimes you convince yourself that something doesn't look good even though it might. sorry for the pic size, the website kept limiting how big i uploaded. oh, and by the way, all of you bikes look great, very inspirational. thanks!

Default new pics.....

and i added new, larger, pics to my garage so you can see how it looks a little bit easier. basically i was wondering how other people thought it looked w/ the tank lift and the '48 seat. i can't decide if i like it or not but i didn't like the factory Iron seat, it just didn't look like it was made for the bike.

Sell me your old rear fender! I love them shorter rear fenders on the iron/48. hate my long *** rear fender. looks a little ridiculous to me

Default rear fender......

if/when i do get an aftermarket rear fender, i'll hook you up with my stock fender. i really won't have any use for it and i don't really see the point in trying to sell it when i wasn't going to do anything with it anyways. you've got dibs if i do swap it out......
