2005 Sportster 1200R wont start, jump fails
Hey all, my 2005 Sportster 1200R wont start, I tend the battery after every ride with the $20 walmart charger. Bout a week ago, battery seemed to be getting weaker, now is completely dead. Battery is only about 6 months old (NAPA) and should still be good. Tried to jump it and bike STILL wont start (just get a click click click and a weak attempt to turn over). Thinking it could be stator? or voltage regulator? or what? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you read and understood the OP's post, you'd know 10 of the items on your above list have about a Zero probability of having anything to do with the OP's problem.

A fully charged battery will measure 12.8 volts.
With the motor running at a FAST idle, you should measure between 13.5 - 14.8 volts across the battery. If it's less than 13.5 volts, you likely have a bad stator, regulator, or both.
