Smile Cobra slash down exhaust

Hi everyone, Im a new member to the forum but have been getting ideas from you guys for a while. I had a couple questions. Why doesn't anyone have the cobra slash down exhaust on the sportster? A lot of people have them on other Harley's and LOVVVEEE them. I went ahead and bought them and will do the community a favor and post a video on youtube of how they sound on my 2005 XL1200C (couldn't believe I didn't find one video with them on a sportster 883 or 1200). Another question is I have K&N air filters already on my bike and I'm going to install the cobra exhaust (link below) and jet kit (link below) at the same time by a professional mechanic. Does anyone foresee any problems I might encounter or any suggestions on what I should or shouldn't do? Thank you guys in advance

I don't think they really look like they belong on a sportster. Looks like pipes that would go better on a touring bike. I don't think I've ever seen any sportster with pipes that long. But different people like different things

Yeah IMO the pipes do seem too long for a sporty, but it's your bike so rock them if you like them. My dad has a set of Cobra pipes on his 2007 C90T and they look and sound good, but that' s big bike so long pipes look right on there.

I've never messed with carbs but I can just pick up tools and wrench on stuff without ever doing it before and I somehow learn how it works quick and figure it out. So with that said I wouldn't pay to have pipes or a rejet to be installed. But it doesn't sound like that bad of a price to me.

Installing the exhaust is a pretty simple job. You don't need anything more than a ratchet set and some needle nose pliers. It you can twist a wrench then you should be able to get the old pipes off and put the new ones on. I've never messed with the carb so I feel you there. However, if you can put the pipes on(which you totally can) it might save you some money.

Yes it is, all pre 2007 Sportsters were. What he is saying is that changing the pipes out is not too hard.
