Nightster Winter Makeover

Thanks very much Imold for the kind words. I've really enjoyed the process of remaking this bike and it was nice to have a forum of really supportive folks such as yourself to share it with.
My condolences for your brother. I've followed this thread since near the beginning and really admire the effort and artistry that went into your bike. There are a lot of custom builds on this forum, but yours has to be around the top in detail and metal work, just a beautiful piece of work, whether it's anyone else's choice of style or not. Thanks for taking the time to share the evolution of the Zombie with us, it's been enjoyable.

Ergo,
Spent a few days reading the entire post...
First: Condolences for the loss of your brother.
Second: I want to sincerely thank you for documenting this experience in as much detail as you did. The work you and your son-in-law did was truly amazing, considering the budget constraints you placed at the start.
I am sure that many (including myself), used this thread as inspiration to just get up and put some hours into a project. It's not all about the money.
I also noticed that you were often quick to give credit to many others for ideas, kudos for that.
Thank you again.

Thanks Ratwerke.
I really enjoyed the project and it was fun documenting everything here on the forum. The whole thing was really a team effort. Obviously, Ozzie was the guy who provided the hands-on expertise and skilled labor. But I got many of my ideas and a ton of very useful, if not essential information from members of this forum and particularly members who were following this thread and providing their insight and knowledge all along the way. I really appreciate the input, comments and positive vibes from the community, and if I failed to do it earlier in the thread I just want to say - thank you!
