Default Need a little help!!

it was fine but somehow I just had to readjust the clutch for some reason....last time I did, I got it perfect, but this time, I made a couple of tries but still had no luck. When I started the bike and put my bike in gear one, it stalled. I know in the manuel and everywhere says turn the adjustment screw until it slightly seed then back 1/4 turn, but what is slightly seed? if my clutch can't disengage properly, am I turning it too lose or too tight?? and if I put the first gear with my hand holding the clutch and the bike moves forward, am I turning it too lose or too tight? any info would help, thanks

loosen your cable first, then w/cover, spring and nut removed, counter clockwise rotation on the set screw until you feel slight tension, then turn clockwise 1/2 turn. reinstall nut, spring and cover and adjust clutch cable so there is about 1/16th to 1/8th inch play at the clutch perch...has worked for me every time(09 883)....good luck.
