Yes that is the reason which is why it worked to make it a 2-1 so well. If you look at the 2.25" portion of the pipes the inner one is 1.5" further back than the outer. So we cut the 2.25" piece off both and raised (shortened) the outer pipe we then added 1.5" to the tail end to make them the same length again. I hope that makes sense not sure.

I went with the Pro Streets back in the Spring.....Love em. Look great and sound great. Havent scraped mine yet but a buddy of mine has them and he scrapes them quite often.....Ofcourse he rides like a nut.

Only gripe of mine is where the are in conjuction with my forwards....I have done a bit of heel melting on them.
