Powder Coat Suggestions
Here are a few pics of my horse ...an 03' XL1200C. The front fender, air cleaner cover, fuel tank, and horn cover are all powder coated tiger black matte...similar to satin black. I still need to to the rear fender. I plan on getting a mustang seat & flyscreen soon. Already have LED lights all around (except headlight). I *may* get a solo bag too. Going to also replace the tail light with a laydown version.
I'm thinking of getting the oil tank, belt guard, battery cover(s) also powder coated the same color.
Any advice or suggestions are welcome...I'd like to know what you guys think.
Thanks!

I'm *considering* doing some brass or copper plate. I just don't want to go overboard and make a good thing garbage. One of the members here had a couple things copper plated and I loved the look.

I'm not a fan of chrome at all, so I'm all about flat / satin black powder where ever you're willing to put it / pay to put it. In fact I'd chop that rear fender before powder, and remove the belt guards. That said it would be SWEET copper plate all that chrome, leaving the rest black. Nice.
If you want to leave a bunch of chrome on it, then I would prob. leave the side cover / batt. cover, and headlight alone.
