I got an email from Harley showing off the new 72 but at the bottom of the page they had this pic. Is harley making rear sets? I can't find it on there website. any idea on these?

 

They don't look like Harley parts, they look too metric. But who knows

 

It looks like the same set up as on my XR1200X.

 

Would that work on a 09 Iron

 

These are OEM rearsets from Harley, but they will not fit Sportster frames because the mounting points on the XR frame are further apart than the passenger footage mount locations on the XL frame. They could be used if you make an adapter plate between the rearset and footage mount - not too complicated.
