Here are a few updated pics with the River Road tool bag mounted to the front of the frame using the 2 lower threaded mounts and the DK Custom Products Outlaw air cleaner kit.

With the combo of being bored after my ride and beer I took it up a notch on the stock muffs. With a 1/2" hole that I originally had made I could only hear the exhaust if I turned my head and listened for it. I had a .800 pipe in the garage so I thought I would open it up a bit more. I guess the baffle plates had had enough and broke clean off. So now they are wide open with the rest of the baffles/guts on place. I started it up in the garage....uuummmm, guess I will hear it now. Good thing I added X14iED's with the A/C.

My neighbors are gonna hate me come Monday morning at 5am.......

I like the fat front tire look AND feel on the road. Will eventually swap out to a mid-glide on mine.

Cool A/C! :)

I've had my 2012 1200 Custom since September and love it. It took me a bit but I got mine set up the way I like it. Attachment 240302

Nice bags. What pipes/slip-ons are those? V & H?

jjohnson4949 03-24-2012 07:12 PM

Yeah they are the V&H Straightshot slip-ons. They sound nice and are loud. Also have the Stage1 air cleaner with the Stage1 download. Makes it run great.

Vance & Hines are nice quality as I have owned a few of their systems in the past. All have been loud but sounded nice. You may also want to consider using a pair of Nightrider X14iED's as the H-D Stage One download only tweeks timing but does nothing to enrich the mixture. I used them with the download a few years back on an Iron. Ran great!!

Had my 2011 C since May. I have to admit that I really miss my Nightster, but a lot better ride. I do want to change the riser though,I liked it at first but if you want to go with apes then they look out of place with those risers(my own opinion though). But in all I love my Custom.
