Okay, so I haven't received my apes or Burly Kit yet, but I have the need to prep. I will not be receiving my Burly Kit until Wednesday...sorry *** Amazon. Anyway, as I'm tearing stuff down the only thing I find intimidating is the wiring. Does the kit have pretty good wire diagrams?
Yes, the kit has very good instructions and they do provide a diagram for the electrical wires. And you well do get prepared in advance because changing handlebars, while it's easy to do, takes a while!

The kit comes with a diagram but make sure you can draw yur own as well. Changin yur bars is easy but will take time and alittle thought as well. I didn't get there bars but I did use there kit. Lets see the finished product. 14z or 16z?
Sorry to disappoint rebel but I got the 12". I'm trying to keep the fuzz off my ***. 12" felt good to me. Like the Biltwell review read...They have just enough rise to not make you look like a dick. I'm still rolling over that one!

I'm about to jump into this project but w/14" apes & a Burly wire/cable kit so I'll be following this thread for any extra tips. I ordered/payed for the kit 9 days ago & have yet to get a tracking number so I'm hoping soon! Btw, avoid ordering from Road 6 Customs. Rude as hell & slow to ship!!!
