Default Oil bag conversion?? Does anyone know how

I love the look off an older style oil bag. Anyone know how to do a conversion?

I love this thing...

They have both used custom oil tanks, which you can see a selection of on Ebay. A google search will probably identify more choice. The challenge I can see is finding room for the battery and everything else that lives under the seat!

It's definitely not easy. The oil tank swap is actually the easiest part. the hard part is re-routing all the wiring out of the way. And I'm not sure what year your bike is, but mine has a big metal plate that my stock oil tank and battery mount to in the middle of the frame. Any custom setup will require that plate be removed and custom mounting points be welded in place. It's definitely not a 2 hr swap out. I've got a custom oil tank on the way, I'll start a thread and show what I encounter along the way.

Now that is one sweet bike. I have no idea about the oil bag swap, but i'm sure Mreed knows how to do it.

first bike is carbed so he doesnt have quite the wiring dilemna, second, about that. Any how the battery looks good on the side, you might just try to finder a smaller battery so you could make a smaller box.
