Default Headlight wiring help....

I took my ride down to a local bike shop to have some bugs worked out and to have it inspected. Upon arriving the guy told me he got EVERYTHING done....BUT (there seems to always be one of those), he said my brake light switch was gone, my headlight only had high beam, and no horn! Well.... I paid him an ungodly amount for tweaking my ride and doing absolutely nothing else that I asked him too.... Before I left my ride with him I said "do WHATEVER you have too to get her ready and inspected". I guess mine and his understanding of this was completely different. So I get her home and one of the wires was loose on the brake light switch, so fixed that in about 5 seconds, and not knowing NC inspection laws I went ahead and bought a new headlight and horn to make the NC inspection system happy. Well now for the problem, I have a new head light with three wires, White, Green, & Blue. However, I only have two coming from my bike, White, and Green.

So my question is:
On an 81 Sportster, is the white wire my High beam and green my ground as in most or am I wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well - you have no high beam on the 81, right? So white is low/only beam, green is ground. You could of course wire it to the high beam filiment on your new light if so desired. Not sure you'd like it any better..
