I thought it was 6200?

 

6200 is with a Power commander..

 

The PC only extends it to 6200? The H-D Stage 1 download lets it go to 7000. Why does the PC not do this.....or is it adjustable?

 

If you look at any of a number of dyno sheets that have been posted here over the years, you'll see that the power curve on a stage-1 or even many stage-2 EVO typically falls off rapidly over 6200 rpm.

Unless you've had extensive top-end motor work done, reving much over 6000 RPM is pointless.

HD's stage-1 download with a 7000 rpm redline is useless on a stock or stage-1 motor.
