I'll take a picture of it tonight when I get home.

One of the first things I did when I got the bike home was to create my own version of the lay down plate kit curved to shape the fender and all. All I used was my two hands since a kit for the new C is not available.

A few pics of the Turn Signal Kit. One thing to keep in mind is you have to drill a 7/16" hole about 1/2 inch above the left side of the tail light for the wiring but the kit does include a grommet.

Thanks for the pics HS. I like it now that i see decent pics. Still deciding on the bags. Just sold some old stuff so the new Leatherpros CB2600s are doable.

Just so you know these things are a major PIA to install. What I thought would be a 2-3 hour job ending up taking me over 5. Some of that could have been because I didn't have the service manual but some of it is because the instructions are a little hazy. Either way it worked out in the end.

Great Job Smoke. At two beers an hour at least you got almost a twelve pack done at the same time. That's multi-tasking.

So is it impossible to use the lay down plate with the 12 1200C? That is the issue I am running into now and for the life of me won't fit. The dealership is closed for 2 days too which really pisses me off, so my bike gets to lay in pieces for probably 4 days all together.

Just did my tail light and turn signals. Turn signals plug into the tail light.

If you bought the LED it should have a plug on the end of the wires. Just unplug the stock light and plug the new led in. If yours is like mine, the turnsignal bolt is not one nut, there is a nut inside the fender and a nut under the fender support trim. You have to unbolt all the rear fender bolts.

I unbolted the turn signal, let it hang and then unbolted all the fender support trim bolts. Frigin Star point heads, that I changed over to polished stainless allen head bolts. I needed a 1/2 and 9/16 open end wrench. after I unpluged the tail light and feed the wires out the brake light I found out that there is a wire holder that the turn signal bolt held on and it had a small pop rivet, which I took a wood chisel and tapped off.

My license plate already had a 4th hole for wires from the factory.

I did not have to take off the wheel or the fender, just did one side at a time.
