No problem... good luck. The indy said the loop it makes is really tight so over time I guess the stress of the bend is too much for the wire and it eventually cracks.
I also have an 06 it has something running not sure what but sounds like a fuel pump

I just noticed something. You said the bike is a 2006 and also mentioned hearing the fuel pump running. That's not possible. An 06 Sporty is carb'd and doesn't have a fuel pump.
