Smile 2012 Iron 883 stock exhaust vs American Custom vs DKCustom Thunder Torques Review!

Hi guys and gals.

As promised here is my review along with a link to my YouTube video for the 2012 Iron 883 Sportster stock exhaust versus American Custom bullet exhaust with the growler baffles versus DK Custom 118 W Thunder Torques.

As for the mods so far I have done on the bike:

x14ieds
DK Custom A/C System
American Custom Bullet Exhaust with growler baffles
DK Custom 118W Thinder Torques

I will keep this post short as I go over everything in the video as far as my review.

I started out with the stock exhaust. I then cut the baffles out of the stock exhaust and inserted the 118W Thunder Torques. The power and torque increased greatly with the thunder torques installed but the sound was a bit high pitched for me. I then installed the American Custom exhaust with the growler baffles and I had the sound I wanted but I could feel that the power and torque dropped just a bit compared to the thunder torques. So what I did was installed the thunder torques inside the american custom exhaust. That made the bike killer. It had the best of both worlds. The power and torque from the thunder torques and the sound from the american custom.

Lets just say that I am one happy camper.

The link below will take you to my video review so you can see and hear the bike.

This review and the video review is solely my opinion as a consumer. I ordered all parts over the internet as you would. I am in no way affiliated with either company, nor have I received anything from either company for my review.

Thanks for reading my post and enjoy the video below...Matt

Cool video Matthew.

I am thinking of getting some of these Growlers now for my own Sporty. (Currently have Cycle Shacks with the Thunder Torques).

Great job on the video. I'm mechanically tempid and will try things but a video of what you actually did would be great

Kevin, I'm thinking of going cycle shack only. Why did you go with CS and the Thunder T's?

Matt, did you hear the CS and what's your comparison opinion of what you did to CS? And not the CS drag pipes without baffles?

Thanks guys.
