on a 48,does the licks solo bag fit ok with rear passenger pegs or do i need an extended peg ? thanks..

 

Not sure about 48's but search here for DIY peg extension. Depending on what exhaust you have, one or both peg mounts are extendable by an inch at least. Grade 8 cap screws and spacers from Lowes.
spacers 3/8 x 1/2 x 1/ 1/2
grade 8 cap screws 3/8-16 x 3inch

^^^What he said is exactly what I did on my nightster. The peg stuck out a little, but the lady wasn't really that happy. Ten minutes of work and $5 of parts and she likes riding a lot more.

 

The HD stock pass pegs are a bit short. If you want more "foot" HD and aftermarket make long pegs as well as extending the mounts. . Check your exhaust side to make sure you have extending room for the exaust peg before getting parts. . cheers

 

I had both bags on my 1200N, but the rear pegs had to go, as they got in the way of the bag... Since the OL always rode it solo, it didn't need rear pegs...
