Looks cool, def a good option over other speedo/tachs because its a HD part. I'll be looking into this in the spring. I really want a digital speedo/tach and this looks great and factory, simple plug and play installation too. Let us know how it works if you decide to get it.

I just realized it requires a separate part for the fuel level sensor which of course cost more $$. But overall the cost is almost identical to Dakota Digital's gauge. I would prefer a dual analog version, but I suppose just a analog tach would suffice.

Thumbs down looks good on paper

Looks great ! I was already to get one until I saw the post about fuel sensor mod .
So much for plug & play. Drain tank pull out pump , install new sensor , replace fuel pump assembly .
Why couldn't this unit just work with existing low fuel sensor ?
Did I miss something in translation ?

How (bad word omitted) cheesy HD . $300 + $130

I am pretty sure that you can use this gauge without the fuel level sensor, you just won't get the digital display of the fuel level. The "idiot" fuel light will still work. You can't download the installation instructions, so it is a little difficult to be certain.

I don't really care if I have a real fuel gauge. So I may try this one. I like the looks way better than the Dakota Digital red or blue.

With a max 85 miles per tank on the 48, you could save the $130 and for-go the fuel sensor and rely on the ODO or Trip. Look slick.
