Default stock 48 rear tire

Has anybody changed the rear tire size to match the front tire on the 48? If so can it be done easy without any modification? i want a bigger rear tire but don't want to change wheel. at least have the same as the front

the rear tire on the 48 is wider than the front. the rear is a 150 and the front is a 130.

I know someone on here put a 180 Avon on the rear. It was a tight fit, but works. It looked real close to the belt though.

Can you think of any cons with going that 180?

A 180 would require a wider rim.

The Softail Deluxe uses MU85B16 for the rear.
It's a 144 & about a quarter inch taller than your 150.

I'm running a 170/70 Shinko WW. No issues. But I did knock out my edge fender LED light on the first ride!
