I just bought an 89 sporter 883 with a year old 1200 conversion kit. It smokes bad out of exhaust and leaks some oil out of carb. New S&S carb on it. I was told to check the breather valve before I have the top end looked at. Any ideas?

 

It sounds like it may been running rich. To much fuel going to the carb.

 

What color smoke? White is oil, black is fuel.
