I finished putting the new Primary mounted License Plate on awhile ago...forgot to post pics.
Before I put the Run/Brake LED light on-
With light installed-
The LED light is a combo running light and Brake Light-
I also removed my front and rear turn signals....still contemplating what I am going to replace them with.

The light on the license plate bracket is only Running and Brake. There are no turn signals on the bike right now.
I will be putting turn signals on both sides of the bike, front and rear.
The brake and running light on the plate bracket are easily visible at night, even on the right side of the bike.
However, during the day, because it is a primary mount, the brake light is not visible (don't care about running light during the day).
Whatever turn signals I use in the rear will also function as brake lights, so that during the day when I use the brakes, if other are watching (and not texting) they will see when I apply the brakes.

I might put one on the fender, like pictured below ...but looking at doing something a bit different on this bike.
Thanks, been wanting a Primary Mounted License Plate for a few years now...finally got to it.

Spent a bit of time on the DK Sporty today.
Recently I've been doing a little work on it here and there, freshening up a few things.
Today it was the headlight.
Tried out a factory headlight, mounted up higher, right off the bottom of the top tree...
...then tried out the Visor headlight off the bottom of the top tree...
...then mounted off the top of the top tree...
...I still like the Visor style better. But I like it better in this higher, tucked in location.
Leaving it there. Still need to decide on new rear RBT.

About 8.5 years ago I put a Lithium Battery in this Sporty.
This has been a long experiment to see how it would hold up.
I rarely put it on a tender...maybe 10 times in the last 8.5 years. Sometimes it is ridden everyday, other times a couple of times a week, and it can go 2-3 months without being ridden.
Most of my conventional batteries last 2-4 years.
So, getting 8.5 years out of this one has been worth it.
But, it has died, so time to pull it out!
Over time I've added a ton behind the side cover, so there is a lot to get out of the way to get to the battery. lol
ECM
Target Tune module and wires
Heated gear wires
Wiring for RBT module
These four things, plus all the regular stuff that is behind there like the main fuse, tender wires, diagnostic plug (that the PV is plugged into).
Got it out. It has served me well. Unfortunately AG brand has let their quality control slip, so I am not replacing this battery with another from them. I will be ordering another Lithium next week, but it will probably be a Shorai.
Here's the space I have to work with!

I picked up a small Shorai...against their recommendations....they said it is too small. It is even smaller than the Antigravity I had (that lasted 8+ years). It has 315 CCA, and 11 amp hour capacity. I think it will be enough.
Have not taken the time to install it yet. Lots of irons in the fire. When I do, I'll take some pics and post them here, along with how it works (or doesn't work).
