Default DK Custom 1.75" Lowering Blocks on a 48

For those who are interested in seeing these lowering blocks installed, here are a few pics. They look sharp and the install is simple.

Just be sure to check the specs before you order...they are not for everyone (<150#) on the "48."

I have been ordering from these guys for a few years and nothing has changed. Products have been stellar. They deliver quickly and Kevin is amazingly helpful.

They look exactly like the Tamarack ones. I have a set of 1" on my Iron with 12" SG shocks. That looks really nice on your 48, really has that slammed look.

Man to be honest I think you are going to shred your back tire on your fender. There is no way you have enough clearance for when the shocks are fully compressed.

I used their 1" blocks on my L. Still plenty of clearance, and good to 220#.

I agree, great products from these guys.

Question, with the lowering blocks installed. Is the ride any better do to the shocks being on an angle. Seams like it would be better.

Sweet bike man.... Curious to know if it rides any different as well. The angle on the shocks is almost scary looking.

It depends on what shocks you are using. With the increased angle there is more leverage on the shocks, so if will ride softer, but if the shocks are not stout enough, then the will bottom out easier.

How long on the sale? And the original poster, are those stock 48 shocks?

Yes, they are stock 48 shocks on the maximum setting. I am also well under the suggested 150# rider weight.

On the 48, with these blocks installed, the side (red) reflector will sit too close to the belt guard. I chose to modify the piece vs remove it.
