Default Newbie XL1200X vs XL1200C-B

Hi all,
Love the forum, too many nice bikes and info. Been around here reading & waching to feed my desire.
Now, I am about to pull the triger on my first Harley. I liked most the Dyna streetbob and the 48. But everyone told me that I will want to change the sportster very soon if I bought one and loose a lot of cash. (sure you heard that BS a lot)
Anyways, I went to the dealer with my mind set on the streetbob. Test drove it and it was very nice, loved the ape hangers. but I was just not convenieced it was mine. so i thought I would check the 48. It looks amazing in person and the moment I got on it I knew the sportster is the bike I want.
The 48 was "almost" perfect for me. love the blacked out engine and the forwards and the frisco tank (although I know its veryyy small) and the fat tire.
The only thing was I wanted a handlebar that sets me more upright.
talking to the dealer to check how much that would cost, he sugested a diffrent beast to me XL1200CB. never saw it before. he said its new for '13 and it has almost every thing I love in the 48 + apes + 2 ups + a lot of chrome parts that are nice contrast to the black. the only thing I hated about it was the tank.
Now my question; Is it better to go with the 48 and add handle bar and passenger seat? (the C's seat felt much more comfy btw) or is it possible to take the XL1200C B and swap tanks from a nightster maybe or even a 48?
They are both same price range (max $500 cheaper if i take the black 48)

Whats you experts opnion?

I have the 2012 1200 Custom, don't know what the B stands for, maybe Black or something to do with 110th Anniversary. I'm glad I have the larger 4.5 tank, getting 150-160 between fill ups.

Either bike can be set up like the other so it really comes down to what you perfer and if you're stuck in the middle look at it in the way of which bike needs less to add or subtract to make it to your liking.
