Title says it all.

Very first thing I noticed was the stock seat that the 72 and 48 come with. It's a nightmare. I put the Harley pillion and pegs on my 72 and found my fat *** sitting between the seat and the pillion for comfort. What is a good fat guy seat for the 72?

Friend of mine gave me the stock seat for the nightster and its a night a day difference. Buddy with a 48 was given a mustang seat, and that is like sitting on a pillow.

So... What's a good seat for 72s for fat guys? I'm 6 foot 270 pounds.

Another problem is my thigh constantly pops open the oil cover... I can get over that.

 

I have a mustang vintage solo on my bike. See sig pic. You might look at the wide vintage solo from mustang. It will give some more real estate for your hind end and will be MUCH more comfortable than any stock harley seat.

 

i ride an evo, but the wide vintage solo from Mustang does provide a lot of real estate.

it also lets you park your *** back a little further than some stock seats - at least it does on my '98

 

Something like the Mustang wide will also give you a good seat base for customising, if you find you want even more room. There are custom seat upholsterers who can remodel it for you.
