There was a highspot in the middle section. wrapped a 7/8" pipe with some sand paper and ground it down. installed and although not as loose as OEM, works and doesn't stick.
im having the same problem but with chrome burly bars and kuryakyn iso grips, got a wooden dowel and will try sanding the inside of the grip. They worked fine on my last bars. I think the chrome may have been put on too thick on the burly bars, many problems with these burly bars already
Every set of grips I ever bought had one with a slightly larger ID for the throttle side. It's possible you either got a set for 7/8 bars (man, that would be tight, you'd probably have noticed on the left side too) or you got two left side grips. With lube (I use WD-40, very, very minimal amount) the grips should go right on with minimal effort- so it's not you, it's the grips.
