Not sure if there is a 1200 Custom thread.. but would love to see all the 1200 customs, Stock, Modified, Upgrades... past, present and future...

Love to see what everyone who owns a 1200 custom has out there! Hear of problems, solutions, what ever! Just a thought!:icon_nut:

Sure thing...here is mine as it looks today...after this weekend though, there will be changes...its a 2001 1200C.

Also, I really like how you did your signature picture, with updates!

Here's mine. 2004. It was pretty much stock when I bought it other than some crappy drag pipes.

I've done:
Patriot Defender exhaust
S&S Stealth air cleaner
Mid foot controls
Smoked lenses
Debadged, tank trim removed
Laydown plate
Black mirrors

I'm making it into more of a hard rider than a slow cruiser. It is a Sportster after all. My plans right now in this order are:

- Install 13" OEM shocks (they are sitting in my garage) since the exhaust scrapes on right turns
- Biltwell Moto handlebars to get my hands a bit further out, less pullback and wrist angle, but I like the height of the stock riser so I'm leaving it
- Ricor Intiminators for the forks
- Better brake pads and fluid

I run mine in two modes. one is obviously long trips which it does very well, I rode 150 miles each way to Va. Beach/Sandbridge last Monday in one day. Had a great time with my son from Utah. He wanted to see the ocean so we went. Today he's almost to the Pacific ocean. He's sort of doing a Forrest Gump on an FZ1.

Mine is a 2008 1200C that I bought new. It's a work in progress.

Dallas, when my wife took me Harley shoppin there was a 2008 in the middle of the showroom exactly like yours was. Then she spied the green one and that was the end of that. She was having green one and how could I mind? This is the day we bought it.
