Default Break in question

I got my new bike today but the streets have way to much sand and salt on them to ride and it's only about 30 some deg. So I can't start breaking in the motor, but I have my VH Short Shots on the way. My question is should I wait and break in the motor with original pipes or does it matter if I put the new ones on to break it in. Does it matter? I'm just think about the back pressure of the baffle -VS- the open header style.

Thanks,

Brian

WHen I bought my V-Rod I had the same question the dealer called Milwaukee and they said it didnt matter (I had them install the SE pipes) I am waiting for my gal who I bought the 07 Sporty to get her confidence up on the bike before I change any of the pipes/accessories on it did you give up that nice looking yellow one for the nightster??

Default RE: Break in question

Wife took itover, in some ways I like the look of that one better than my Nightster, but I'm not going to tell her that, LOL

Thanks for the complement,

Brian
