Ronnie's Parts List is handy to find things like that, and their prices are good. Did you lose it? Should be reusable just about forever if you don't damage it somehow.

I actually bought the bike second hand and after riding it about 15 miles the clutch wouldn't engage, when I took the derby cover off, the lockplate well type and adjustment spring weren't there and the adjustment screw had just loosened up a whole lot.

The previous owner must have not ridden it after he put it back together. Strange... Good thing that didn't happen a couple states away! You can call a dealer, if one's near you, and ask if they've got that part number on Ronnie's webpage. If none local, and Ronnie's doesn't have it in stock, you can try Granite States, similar parts pages like Ronnie's.

The previous owner actually rode it about 50-60 miles to meet m. I have no idea how. But thanks to you was able to get the part and it should be at my house tomorrow and I'll be back on the road after a few minutes of assembly. Much thanks, God bless.

I installed a Energy 1 pack saturday morning and test rode it to work saturday afternoon. What a difference! I'm very satisfied. Thanks for your detailed, informative, and most of all accurate set of instructions as to what I should expect. I read it several times, as well as watched a couple "how to" videos, as well as one "how not to" video. The only tool you forget to mention was the most important one....Patience! Best regards

Did my Energy One this weekend using this guide and the post on DIY'ing the compressor tool out of PVC. Worked perfectly! Much appreciated!

Looking at getting one even though my bikes only got 10K on it. does it feel like its got more power, or is it just a cleaner grab?

I wouldn't want to overstate. Def more grab, in my mind, more power is transferred, but that could just be wishful thinking.

It's a recent post. On phone, so I can't search it now. It's a 3" PVC coupler cut down and piece of metal cross brace. Google image search DIY Sportster clutch compression tool or similar and there's more examples. Saw one where a guy drilled a wrench for the metal cross beam.
