The Softies are nice, but a Sportster they are not.

Whole other ride...not bad, just different.

I won't just step up on my next HD purchase. Will be Sportster to Bagger keeping the Sportster in the next year or so. Oh and it won't be water cooled either. That bike is nice looking none the less.

Doesn't surprise me that the sporty does better than the breakout, but I didn't expect the super glide to beat the sporty! From the Harley site.

I wonder how they compute the lean angle - when something drags? I've only hit metal once on my 1200, on a left turn. My 883 (mid peg) seems to be able to lean a bit more. My tour glide... lean? Following my daughter on the 883, scrape, scrape...

But if I would have the cash, what would living with a 2014 softail breakout be like?

I've been eyeballing one yesterday, sitting on it, walking around it and it is one hell of a sweet machine!

Opinions please, with the sporty in mind, what would you do? Other than planning a test ride...

It's just a bigger Sporty! Great lookin, quick from bar to bar, not good for anything else. Hold onto your Sporty for rides like that and add a tourer to the stable for travelin. THEN yah got somethin!

Been looking at the lean and front angles and I guess the softail slim would be a better choice. Also because of the wheel size. Anyways, I don't have that money available right now anyway, or at least I'm not willing to spend it on another bike just yet. I would like to have the bigger engine though. Like an itch you can't scratch kind of a thing.
