I think the longest stock shock is 13.5", I have 13" on mine (longer than stock for a SuperLow). Do you have a particular shock in mind?

There are a lot of cheap shocks out there that may give you a better ride, however there is also the risk you could find yourself buying several of them to try out and still not be very happy. The challenge is deciding what you really want of your ride and if that includes a passenger, who you want to ride with more than once, then follow in the footsteps of wanabe or jimlowe!

Sorry about that,but these things really do work! I put a set of 440 progressives on my V rod and was frankly disappointed,especially as they weren't cheap and I went to Orange County California to pick them up!

Stock Harley air shocks (used) are the best bargain. I bought RK 12-3/4" shocks for my '06.

I got the Progressive 412s for the Sporty for Christmas, paid less than a C note for brand new shocks. Now if I can figure out how to start this thing I will be cruzin' in comfort!
