At work now, I'll give you details later this evening

It wasn't today, but I did buy a new to me Sportster yesterday. Got a good deal on a 2002 Hugger with 7300 miles on it. It's not cosmetically perfect, but it's a blank canvas to work with. Changes will be coming soon...

Here's where I found info that I used
http://xlforum.net/vbportal/forums/s...ad.php?t=52148
according to that thread, it fits up nicely to an 04 and up (not sure how late though as this was from a posting in 07) and a guy did it to his earlier bike, I think 99, using a washer to fill the gap because the fender was not as wide prior to 04.
Part number is 68615-04 and I picked one up off of ebay for $100 shipped
I drilled 4 holes, 2 for the bolts and two smaller for the signal wires. I removed the plastic plugs from the wires so they would fit otherwise the hole would have been huge.
The bags are from Viking.

Had my new bars, cables, and grips done. Switching out pegs to match, flipping my mirrors, and putting on a new sissy bar are next.

I smoked out my turn signals today and flipped my mirrors on my new mini-apes.
