finished up my rocker box gaskets, put everything back on, and took her for a ride!
Got a little upset, started it up as gently as I could since the rockers were oil-less, and got 2-3 strokes, and she died. Hmm. Tried again, same thing, once more, same thing..
Wait a minute! Forgot to connect the gas tank to the injectors. oops.
only other issue is the rear brake isnt working right, it has pressure, but it barely grabs. musta not uninstalled / reinstalled the rear caliper right. I think the pad might be a little side ways and not grabbing fully. I read the manual on it, rather than just ol ham fist, and it was close but i missed the 'pad bolt' removal so i think they're bound up a little.
other than that - s100'ed the whole bike and cleaned her up perty
Hadnt put the heat shields back on but

Beautiful day today sunny and about 65*. Went for a 150 mile trek up to foothills of western NC and hit the twisties. Sporty kept up with my buddies BMW and Ducati (barely). Found out the stock Scorcher's really don't cut it when hitting the curves hard. Almost lost it a couple of times.
Beautiful paint! Real eye catching bike.

Rode it to work this morning. 65* at 8am.
Gonna be close to 80* when I head home.
Wind is 20+ mph...later tonight we have thunderstorms and tornado watch...but I will be back home by then.

Started it up for the first time since bringing it home and tearing into it.
I am still waiting for my decals and still have the 16" wheel on the back.
There have been a few Issues with getting my 19" wheel working on the back.
The firsts of adapters wouldn't center and the second had the wrong pilots to fit my pulley and rear rotor.
Every thing should be here by April the 12th. Fingers crossed.

Almost done.
