Decided to put the Screaming Eagle slip-ons back on my 1200C as I like my new neighbors (we moved into a smaller home with a shared driveway) and I thought the Cobra 3" slip-ons were too loud.
I was right about the sound level. Discovered the rear cylinder exhaust pipe was loose at the cylinder. Gasket was nearly gone as well. Hadn't realized that. I'm an idiot, I know.
That being said, I installed a new gasket, muffler clamps and crossover gaskets. Noise level is more tolerable and the bike runs better (of course.) Oh, uploaded a new tune from the Powervision.
Now I can roll out of the driveway at 05:30 with a little less guilt.

150km round trip on the highway to the dealer today. I needed some gloves. I bought HD heavy gloves in Feb when I bought the bike and should not have.... they are nice but I can't get a good grip with them. I wore these home... much better and not a bad price.
I asked when the new 1200 models would be in and if possible test rides. The two they were allotted for now were both sold. No test rides.

Nothing major on the list as if yet. Everything is simple but here's what I'm thinking
-ditch the front fender
-replace my 21 with a 19
-solo seat
-remove passenger pegs
-install mid controls
- replace the mirrors
- chop rear fender/struts
- install new rear shocks
However, I could end up going an entirely different way I'm still not 100%. I just wanted to get rid of the handlebar set up asap. I was never a fan of the stock XL1200C handlebar set up. With my speedo relocated and short risers I feel the bike looks cleaner and I'm open to more options.

I don't want to ride with my brother now because I have to wear my HD gloves, or conveniently "forget" to wear gloves.
