Changed the oil for winter (drained the straight 60wt and filled up with 20w50), installed a Mustang Fastback seat (goes well with the new tank), and rode to a vintage bike club breakfast.

Default Resumed sporty progress.

Since my dyna is near where i want it to be and the wheel fiasco is almost over, i'm turning my attention back to the sporty.

Plan:
  • Energy one clutch
  • 25mm axles/sliders
  • 2016 Roadster wheels
  • Night dragons front and back
  • CD trubeam
  • Update paint Tins (nonessential )
CD trubeam ordered (from Shilo @ ridethelite.com)

Weather has turned much cooler and today rainy. So prepared the winter *Hibernation* spot for my 1200C, complete with carpeting on the floor, moisture absorbing cardboard panels and a small heat source for the really cold periods.
Also, have the battery tender ready to go.

Got the new 110/19 front tire mounted/balanced...

Member 'Dane M' got me thinking about 'something different' when
he changed the color of his tank, so here's what I came up with, to
somewhat 'complement' the Red sparkplug wires on the left side....

Dane - thanks for the inspiration!

Took it for a ride...a few more good rides and I can hit 2,000 miles in my first season of riding. Stopped by my local dealer and picked up a winter storage checklist, too, but I'm not quite ready to put it away yet.

Added Power Vision 5 tuner, made initial auto-tune and am happy to report a better ride, more power, smoother ride, installed for future use.

I must thank and endorse DKCustom Products for their efforts in making the effort to get this product to me. Shipping and customs are becoming more and more difficult, kudos to DK.

Regards to all and upgrade!
