Finally updated the fuel pressure regulator on my '07 with the p/n 61005-07 spacer kit. Damn pump assembly made it 11 years before the pressure regulator issue finally hit and if it weren't for being able to search back through this forum I'd have probably never realized that it was a $25 update kit instead of replacing the entire pump assembly. Thanks guys!

Met up with a buddy I grew up with and we rode over to Moonshine, IL for some lunch at the Moonshine Store. If BFE had an area THEY called BFE it would be Moonshine, IL. It is in the middle of no where, but great burgers! Today was the best day of 2018 so far. Cool in the morning, full sun all day with temps in the mid 70's. Ended up getting in 255 miles.

It was rather cool here this morning, temps in the upper 50's. Had to wear a jacket when I headed out at 8:30 am. Took it off after lunch. Handsome devil ain't I, helmet hair and all... LOL

Here's the Moonshine Store in Moonshine, IL. Pop. 2 The line for food got REAL long right after we got our food, we were lucky we got there when we did.

Default started on a build...

while not exactly today, over the last few weeks I've been tearing down a 1988 XLH I bought for a project.
I work away from home through the week at the moment so haven't had a lot of time to work on it but have stripped it down and been ordering a few parts...
pics of how it was when I bought it to how it is now...

the day I got it home, 1988 XLH 883 with 1200 kit

Installed a Mustang Super Tripper seat. Much better lines than my Vintage solo and still comfortable. I’ll still be using the Vintage solo for all day rides and trips.

Default Some new goodies

Slapped on some new risers, tossed a teardrop on it, some pegs and a detachable sissy bar for this summers weekender trips. I want to clean up the all the cables and thinking of doing a biltwell whiskey throttle to go single cable with it. Anyone have a whiskey throttle on their 48?

Default Visited my local dealer

Rode up to my dealer to buy some new googles and check out what's new. Traded her in on a new Street Glide Special. It was hard to part with her after all the mods, and the fact that I love the look and riding her around town, and the huge expense, but the SGS was just too awesome. I will be finalizing the deal and switching bikes later this week when all the mods are completed. I'm excited, but I know I'll miss the sporty.

Finally finished every mod I could think of

and I love how it came out, but...

One I took it for a test drive...

I pulled the trigger
