Primary chain inspection cover leaks

Primary chain inspection cover leaks
I found a small leak coming from the primary chain inspection cover, first I thought the oil leaks from the bolt o-rings but it turned out to be the rubber gasket. I took the cover out and checked the gasket. Looks like the bottom of the gasket didn't contact the primary case properly. I had this problem the first day I picked up my brand new 1200L last September, took it back to the dealer and they fixed it. How often should I change that gasket? Do you people replace that rubber gasket every time you change the primary oil? I have 2,400km only. I just worry about the mating surface on the primary case isn't flat.

RE: Primary chain inspection cover leaks
Any time you mess with a gasketed cover... you should plan on replacing it (gasket)... you know... don't get caught with your pants down... lol
That being said... I've adjusted my primary chain twice and haven't had to replace the gasket... but I do have one on hand...
