Here are some before and after pics of my "build".

List of Modifications

-Sportster 883r Handle Bars
-Sportster "48" Seat
-Sportster "48" Front Fender on Rear
-Front Fender Delete
-4 inch Lowering Rigid Struts
-Passenger Pegs Mounted as Forward "Highway" Pegs
-Lots of Black Plasti-Dip / Spray Paint
-LED Blinker's / Brake Light
-Side Mount License Plate Bracket / Running Light
-Hard-wired Battery Tender Plug (big deal right?)
-Mirrors Deleted (for now)
-Custom Copper Battery Cover

Nice, the bikes looking pretty sweet. I got the same year. How'd you go about the rear fender? Did you just drill a hole in the top and bolt it to that tab on the frame or..? Also wondering how the rigid mount compares to the stock shocks. I'd really like to mount the rear fender closer to the tire but im debating between cutting the passenger struts or go rigid mount.

Here's a picture of what's going on with the rear fender. This is a custom bend piece of metal that holds the seat. But yes, more or less, there is a bolt that holds the fender to the tab on the frame.

I hate to admit it, but I haven't ridden it yet with the rigid struts. I am still working on getting it registered.

Looking good, how much road debri ya think youll get sprayed with with no front fender? Ive been tempted to take mine off.
