What not to do on Mother's Day
 

Got up this morning and wished my wife a happy Mother's Day . Asked her if she wanted to go to Rossmeyer's Harley Davidson Sunday swap meet, looking for a new seat for the Sportster. She took it in stride, and said, "that's not exactly what I had in mind for Mother's Day" I'll update you when I get back later! Just kidding, so far she is having a good day...

Hooter's has free food for moms today...

When she finds out that the reason you took her to Hooter's for mother's day was because her meal was free, it really isn't going to help!

I'm taking my wife for a ride today on the bike, she'll like that. Of course that's after I finish making breakfast!!

:icon_doh: Please tell me that you didn't ditch out and leave her with the kids and housework on Mothers Day.

Flowers, make her dinner and clean up the mess after. Back massage and foot massage are good too.

Another no no...wake up and ask her "what's for breakfast" then tell her the house is a mess. ;) :D

I just got back from a 40 mile bicycle ride and my wife had breakfast waiting for me. I kept asking what she wanted to do and she just wants to hang around the house. She just asked me if I was going for a ride on the Sportster later. After 32 years of marriage holidays are just another day :)

Our kids are grown and gone, my mother has been buried for 20 years hers for 10. I wished her a happy mom's day but that's about it, as adults it's the kids job now. She is not my mother after all....lol
