overflow hose

Might be worth a look. I've never heard of a catch can for that tube, so maybe it's normal? Who knows?
My '91 CA overflow tube goes to the VOVS, which opens by engine vacuum and allows the overflow tube to vent. It's also curved to an upward position, not down. I assume only a wee bit spills out or it would block with fluid. I do know if you block it that the idle is affected. A catch can might not be a good idea if the tube end gets submerged.
