Default Looking for options and pics for higher bars

Hi all, I'm looking for some inspiration.

I want slightly higher bars on my 2013 1200C mainly to have a bit more relaxed ride. Not ape hangers, just having my hands 10 to 15 cm higher and 10 to 15 cm towards me. 3 to 4 inches.

Would this involve replacing cables too?

Your advice and or pics would be great!

I wanted the same thing and put Road King bars on mine. No change in cables/hoses required.

You should be able to go up to 10 inches and pushing the cable limits at that point with stock lines, but you could get some nice z bars that are like 8 inches. But if you want a true experience get something like 12-14 inches and yes you will then have to buy cable extensions. Burly brand sells both bars and the extension kit, another vedor is road6customs... Lots of choices. If you want some truely one off bars, then check out zombie performance

Just put old-style buckhorns on my '08 1200C. 8' rise and 6.5 pullback and you will not believe the improvement in sitting comfort and ride. I feel the maneuverability of bike has improved as well.

And I didn't have to extend any cables. Check out the attachment for pics.

HD Mini-apes are not that tall....probably put it right where you need. Throttle cables are long enough, all wires are long enough, clutch cable (with some re-routing) is long enough, the only think that might need replacing is the front brake line.

Hate to hi jack the thread slightly guys. I've been debating the Hollywood bars for sometime and at around £117 for the bars relatively cheap... until the told me about the cables that were needed... according to them (and I'm not saying they're correct!) but five cable extensions are needed, and at £120 a pop! How can cables be more expensive than the damn bars themselves?! Now I understand some of the above mentioned bars have said no extensions were needed but I'm guessing the cables are pretty much the same for the Iron which process of elimination would mean I don't need them either? Don't fancy paying £600 for bars and cables without the installation!

Sorry ... don't know much about Hollywood bars. How high are they? Going 8-10 inches should be fine with no extension needed. Some creating bending/re-routing of the front-brakeline is required though.

I just installed 10" mini apes on mine.
If you run the throttle cables outside of the forks, they are fine.
I had to reroute the right side wiring, tight, but it worked.
Clutch cable is fine.
There was no way the brake line would reach, even with trying to straighten the bends in the metal section. I bought a line from the dealer, there are likely cheaper options, but I didn't want to waste time searching them out.

I really like these bars.
