Hi,
Just recently noticed an oil leak front the left top corner of the rear rocker box cover on my 2007 1200 Custom. I also just recently returned from a trip from NC to Key West and I'm wondering if the leak could possibly be due to vibration loosening something. I need to know what the torque specs are for the rocker box cover so I can check that before I maybe unnecessarily change the gasket. Thanks!

 

There was a gasket design change due to leakage, but the torque value for fthe upper cover is 120-168 inch-lbs NOT FT LBS

 

Here's all the bolts:



Bolts 1: 90-120 inch-lbs
Bolts 2: 10-13 ft-lbs
Bolts 3: 15-18 ft-lbs

The Little bolts on the top rocker cover are 10-13 ft-lbs.

In my manual this is covered under the cylinder head installation section.
