Would a 2014 Forty-Eight gas tank fit on an older (2010) Forty-Eight?
I read that changes were made 2014 to the electrical system and wonder if this made them change the geometry of the tank somehow, thinking of swapping mine for a used 2014 gas tank.

Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF.

By coincidence the part number for your tank is the same as a 2010, #61724-10 (in primer), so yes they will swap over. You can answer these sorts of question by looking up any of the on-line parts websites, like this one.
