Used briefly - what did you not like about using them?

 

Nothing really..they eliminated the horrendous brake dive. However I was trying to find a solution that would do that and give a more supple ride. This was my first experiment at improving the performance of the front forks on my 48.

At the time I used these there was no recommendation as to how large to make the holes in the dampening rod. I was cautious and only drilled them out to about 1/4 inch. There are a lot of different possible combinations. you have three different springs, and each of the springs can be tensioned differently as well.

This video was not out then. I can see they hog the hole out completely eliminating the dampening rods function. SO the problem was probably with me..but I did not know this at the time. I tried the Ricor intiminators next. The ricor intiminators will be for sale soon as I have moved on to a cartridge system..!!!
