I got all the evidence and they drug their feet and finally the guy was outed. I still have a lot of friends in CVMA and support some of their runs.
Do they do background checks to join the VFW? We're the same thing except that we ride, half of the appeal of the CVMA is that there is no requirement to attend meetings or rides if you don't want to.

Would like to hear the good and bad of CVMA. Never bothered joining because the whole purpose of riding is to get away from any rules and meetings but hung out at the CVMA bike nights in Central Texas always had a good time. Have a kid now so way less free time and it would be good to be able to plug right into a group of riders every time I PCS.

Well the good is you don't even need to join and you will still be welcomed to join any and all rides events and meetings. If the meeting has a member only time you will politely be asked to wait outside until the chapter items are covered.

There is no pressure to join, and if you do there is no pressure to attend anything you don't want to.

Was not a retired Sheriff. Booted when outted by Mad Max and Crew. He was an old Man whose past finally caught up to him thanks to the PHM/C.

Hey there Gents! I'm curious what criteria does CVMA use to define a "Combat Veteran"?
