Default Tire Mileage

How many miles do you get out of your CT on the back?

I have a 15 Ultra Limited, and have 18500 on the stock tires.

Going to the dark-side Double dark..and am just wondering what to expect for tire changes.

Going to be using the Achilles Platinum on the rear and a BT-45 (stock dimensions) on the front.

Default mileage

Mileage varies with the rider.

You should experience at least a 25% increase in mileage with a car tire.

I normally can get about 13k out of a stock tire and 20K out of a car tire (except a Yoko).

18500 on a set of stock bike tires has got to be some kind of a record!

19,700, on the rear? What do ya do, ride it on a tread mill? My original Dunlop I was lucky to get 5 thou, my current Commander II is a little better but no double digits. I'll probably be going Darkside as soon as it goes.

I haven't gone to the Darkside with my Road Glide Ultra yet. But i did with my last 2 bikes a 2010 Goldwing and 2006 Royal star tour deluxe i got over 30,000 miles out of car tires no problem and they road great. My Harley just seams to top heavy getting use to it and CTs can throw you around in ruff terrain and holes not ready for that quite yet.

Didn't go to the darkside yet... 22400 and still have 4/32 tread left on the rear, quite a bit to the wear bars... I'll check again at 25000...
I did change the rear brake pads... they were all used up.. going to check the fronts..

Default Final mileage

I finally went double dark on my 2015 Limited.
Mileage was 25800.. could have most likely gotten another thousand out of the rear, but not the front, it was looking pretty used.
I finally got it done!! Changed the rear, took it for a ride, wasn’t to much different. I used Ride On for balancing and sealant should it find a nail..
