Hi, I am looking for a Darkside tire for a 2000 Heritage. Currently runs a 130 90 16 motorcycle tire.

Didn't the article say that earlier bikes have a wider belt?

Disregard, I just noticed he is asking about a Heritage.

Carlos, check this: http://darkside.nwff.info/?p=tires

Hi, I came across this tire on the Coker Tire site:
https://www.cokertire.com/tires/bran...rt-radial.html
This would be a 5.00R x 16 to replace a 130 90 16 on a 2000 Heritage Springer. Anyone with experience with this tire ?

Not 100% sure, but it may be about a couple off, if any. Going to try a gps and see if it is. Riding in traffic, it is very close to be the same, just cant say 100%.
I ride with 38psi and so far have about 300 miles with no issues. Does take a little more counter steer, but not much.
I have a couple sharp curves I take at the same speed I did with MC tire and can not tell a difference with this tire. As for my riding style, I ride back roads and 2 lane highways, and will take interstate also. Everyone asks about the leaning, but most turns are just sweepers with little input for me.
So far I am pleased with the ride and handling.

Had bike out today and used my phone as a gps, the speedo is off about 5mph slower than actual gps speed. check speed at 4 different speeds with the cruise on and all where the same.
