Default 195/60-16 will it fit

2017 RGU will a 195/60-16 fit. This size matches up well with stock tire it is the same height and only 3/5 of an inch wider. I really don't want to do this twice and would like to stay at the same height. Is there a reason most seem to run a 195/55-16?

I can't see any reason why it wouldn't fit (195/60r16) I think one of the reasons some go with the 195/55r16 is there is a wider selection of tires one can use even if they are a little shorter. The 195/60r16 really has a scant few to select from.

On my 2010 Street Glide, I'm running a 205/60r16 on the rear and a 150/70-18 rear tire on the front in reverse. (double dark)

Thank you. I have been looking at some Dunlop in that size and a few others.

The 195/60-R16 Hankook 426 is installed and rode it home is some snow and Ice today. First the Tire fits prefect. No clearance issues at all. Looks big fro the back. I had Ride on add to balance it. The sidecar rig handles well with the CT installed.

I'm glad it worked out for you! This will help others who might want to do the same with their bikes since I have seen the same type of question multiple times.

195/60/16 in most brands is the go-to tire for the touring Harley from 09 up.

I almost made the mistake of buying one that has what they call rim guard. . The side walls are wider to protect rims from curbs . Road it home in some snow and ice. so a picture would be about worthless right now. I was surprised how easy it road up my long some what steep drive way.
