Time for an update.

Just got back from Rolling Thunder. About 1150 miles in 4 days.

The tire was great, but it seems as if I have a lot of moisture in the air in the tire. I am seeing a 8 psi pressure rise from cold to full hot at 75 mph on a hot day. This is more than I used to see on the old bike with a GMax tire. Could be more moisture inside the tire expanding or maybe the stiffer run-flat side walls just generate more heat? MY CVO has built in TPMS so I can watch tire pressure while riding. Not real comfortable when rear tire pressure exceeds 45 psi. Anybody have any thoughts on max pressure?

Got to ride in the rain on the way home Monday morning. The CT was great!

As per usual I feel safer riding on a CT than I do on a MT......

Try emptying the tire completely and filling with nitrogen. Most car dealerships have nitrogen fill stations nowadays. If there is any moisture in there the nitrogen should dry it out. We use nitrogen to get vessels air and water free for certain situation. I haven't checked mine hot but I'm at 40psi cold. Now you have me wondering how much mine may climb on a hot day. Maybe it's common to all darkside setups and we just don't see it typically because we don't have TPMS like the CVO's. If anything, I'd assume the RF generates LESS heat because of the sidewall stiffness and reduced flex.

Any solution for your TPMS light?

What do the Honda GL guys do?

Running at 37 psi cold clears the low tire pressure fault once the tire warms up. There is still some fault that makes the warning light go on up till about 30 mph, then it goes out. I think it has something to do with smaller 55 series tire diameter.

I can't find were it says "Car Tire" on mine.
Something I did notice is the weight limits. Much higher than the tires that were on my bike when I bought it. Actually, the stock tire weight limit was below the weight of the rear of my bike with me and a passenger on it. Now I think that's pretty unsafe.

All pics at different stages until 4500k from install. This is one of the best mods done to my Fatboy. I also did a DIY oil cooler with a Hayden transmission cooler for about 50dlls and changed all 3 of my fluids to automotive fluids. I'm past the paying more just because it's labeled for "Motorcycle". I would be thinking by now about changing my rear tire, again. As you can see, you can't tell the tire is worn at all. The word has to spread that these tires are not as bad as people perceive them to be. Keep on riding!!!

Time for an update.
The bike / tire now has over 3000 miles. Just got back from an overnite dinner run to Pittsburg.
Ate at the Church Brew Works (We highly recommend it) it is a neat place for dinner. Also one of the bikes had a minor mechanical issue, the nearest dealership said 3.5 hours minimum to get him in. The local Indy, Aces High https://www.facebook.com/AcesHighCycle/ Got him in immediately and saved our trip. I recommend them!
Anyway the to and from travel was all high speed highway, high 70s to low 80s whenever possible. The bike handled great with no issues (Other than the bike throwing the tire low air pressure fault). I had no problems keeping up and the ride was smooth as silk.

Default Any Dark Side Michelin users?

Looking to try the dark side and Michelin has a top of the line tire, Premier All Season, that looks good to me. It's tread
pattern is not real aggressive like some AS tires but I very seldom ride in SoCal rain. My first time giving the dark side a try
and the rim width on my 2013 FLHTK looks like it should work out with a 195 / 55 x 16 - V speed rated. Dark side user
thoughts please.

Bob if you go with the 55 it's going to jack up your speedometer. Stay with a 60 series.

I've got Power Vision that will adjust the speedo. That's said, which one - was thinking 205 / 55 x 16 V rated Michelin Premier A/S.
