I've got 9300 on my 195/55/16 G-Max and still looks new. Ran 28 psi but now running 32. I'll expect 25K out of it. I also pull a trailer.

Stock tire sucked at 10K.

Older thread but just my 2 cents.
Had a 2011 Road King and traded it for a 2013 flhtc . Stock rear tire wore out on both bikes around 9k.
Replaced with Yokohama 195 60 16 on rear and run it over 20k and was still going when I traded it on a 2013 flhtc. I have 20k on this one and still good tread. do not know how far it will go.

I would have had to have bought 4 factory tires over that period. probably more, at 300.00 a crack+tx = $1200.00 dollars verses 80.00 x 2= 160.00 for Yokos..

I give up nothing as they are better in the wet and ride better by far.Never had a flat on them but did on both factory tires.

40k on them and am still around with no crash and burn!! And great handling!

Total miles with a car tire on bike is well over 120K..
I usually get about 30k or 1 riding season out of a tire..
all of these miles have been done on 2 large Metric Tourers,
02 Royal Star Venure and a 04 Kawasaki Voyager XII
I now have an 04 Ultra added to the stable and I am looking to change out that tire
to the darkside as well, but seems like I may have a harder time.

Have ridden approx. 60 to 70K on car tires on 3 different HDS Miles added together. never had a flat , they Handle good excellent in the wet! They were still on the bikes when I traded. Going to put one I already had bought on the 2016 fltrxs. Although I have almost 10 k on stock tire . The bike seems to be easier on rear tires than the others so will probably get at least 12k from factory.

Have about 50,000 miles on car tires on electra glides. Have used three different kinds, Bridgestone, Michelin and currently using yoko avid envigor rf. . By far the best tire ive ever used. I have 6000 miles on it and it looks like new. Have to see. I always use RF for the safety factor. One thing I have learned is that too much pressure , 31 lbs, wears them out in the middle prematurely. I now run 26 as a lot of guys on the wing forum do and the tire rides better, handles better and certainly wears better. I use this pressure even when 2 up with luggage without issue.

Default 3 yr update

I'm not sure how many darkside miles I got on the 2011, but I've got over 100K on my 2013 with a CT on the rear.
I went dark after the original rear wore out in less than 10K.
