Default MC Rear on Front of Electra Glide.

How large of a MC rear tire will fit inside of factory 2017 Electra Glide front fender?
Not looking to go huge, but just want to learn how big is too big?
Anyone have photos if a rear tire in a stock EG fender they are willing to share?

Why do you want to run a rear tire as opposed to a larger front tire?
There are reasons for tread patterns and front and rear tires are constructed differently - specific to acceleration vs braking.

Maybe due to front size availability. I may want a larger front on the front. That is a separate topic. I am asking about rears on the front because there are a number of threads discussing double dark side having a rear on the front. I am curious what rear people are using up front. Then wondering how they are liking it?

Try reading the explanation of this forum before you put in your 2 cents.

We don`t need someone who has never tried something to tell us it won't work.

I am running Battle Ax Bt45 150 series up front. I have it mounted frontwards. After 1 full season I am very pleased with it.

I know where I am, not trying to be negative, just asked for info.
I have been looking into run flat CT's, for mileage and comfort. Considering 205 60 16 Bridgestone DriveGuard Tire 205/60RF16 92V.
Actually running an AVON rear on the front of one of mine (reversed) because they didn't have a WWW in the width.
Sorry I entered your world.
